The Panthers kicked off today after two good wins and hoping to make it three on the trot with a few changes to the team. Clifton looked a strong side and started well with some good play. The Panthers soon settled into their flowing passing game and the first attack at goal saw a strong run from Reece whose shot was well saved only for the ball to bobble up and Dan was there to head it into the back of the net, 1-0. Reece was next on the score sheet with another strong run and low shot, 2-0 to the Panthers.

The Panthers defenders were kept busy with some quick passing from Clifton, Scott came off his line a few times to take the ball before any real danger occured. Thomas and Seb got some timely tackles in and Sam was busy working the ball forward for Reece, Dan and Ben. Ben had a fine shot that hit the post. Chris and Reece linked up well for the third goal with some great talking and passing, Dan finished well 3-0. Another good effort from Ben saw the Clifton goalie make a superb save to deny him once again. Dan got his hat-trick just before half time with a super low shot, well done Dan.

Half time 4-0 to the Panthers.

Second half and the Panthers let their foot off the gas, Clifton attacked solid and got two quick goals to make it 4-2 which put the Panthers under a bit of pressure. Edward, Will and Jacob dug in and tackled well, Ryan was immense in defence at crucial times. A strong run from Ben saw his determination set up an easy tap in for Callum, which he gratefully took ,5-2 to the Panthers and a bit of breathing space again. Reece added a sixth goal with another fine shot, final score 6-2 to the Panthers.

Man of the Match went to Reece Cowan who ran the show from start to finish with some solid strong runs and two classy goals. Well done Reece and a special well done to Dan Fletcher on his hat-trick.
