It was agreed at the Parents Meeting in May that for 2010/11 subs would be payable monthly.  The preferred option is to pay £8 per month (for 12 months) by standing order.  The alternative is to pay £10 per month (for 10 months with 2 months off in the post-season) in cash.

The bank details for standing orders will be provided at the the friendly pre-season games, and first payments should be set up for 01 Oct 2010.  As a catch-up for part of August and for September, subs of £10 for each player will be due at the friendly on Wed 01 Sep 2010.  You should confirm to Lisa Wilson how you intend to pay subs from October.

TEAM ROLES/DUTIES AS AGREED MAY 2010

Further to the meeting held on Wednesday 19th May, the following was discussed and agreed:

  • Richard Pamment agreed to continue coaching and select the team on match days
  • Nick Wilson also agreed to continue coaching and submitting match reports, but would not be able to commit to all match days
  • Karl shall assist with coaching when necessary
  • Dave Wilson offered to help with coaching as and when needed
  • It was agreed that we no longer shall run a tuck shop from hereon, mainly due to the fact our pitch for next season (Highfield School) also has other younger teams which offer a good tuck shop selection
  • To cover the referee cost, it was agreed we will continue to hold a raffle and require a raffle prize to be brought to the first home game from each player, (with the players name on it please).  All these prizes will be locked in the container and each home game a prize will be picked out and the raffle tickets will be sold by the family who contributed that particular prize.
  • All future home games everyone agreed all parents, coaches and players are to meet at 10am.  The coaches will coach and warm up the players whilst the parent’s duties are to erect and dismantle goals, nets, corner flags and respect barriers and decide/organise who will run the lines during play.
  • Kate Pollitt already updates our website and will also detail the directions and away pitch addresses and email to all parents prior to away games once confirmed by Mick.  (Therefore on the registration forms, please include e mail address(es)).
  • Global texts with information, changes and updates shall be sent via Lisa Wilson in addition to continuing being the Treasurer.
  • Subs were agreed to be paid monthly £8 per month x 12 months standing order (preferred option) however should any families prefer to pay by cash monthly, this will be due by a set date at £10 cash per month x 10 months.  Dates and bank details to be advised by Lisa Wilson nearer the beginning of next season.  (It was agreed a couple of seasons ago that weekly subs of £2.50 should be paid whether your child attends training or not, only players exempt should be long term injuries.)
  • Managers meetings and league meetings are to be attended by one coach and was agreed that the coaches shall alternate this duty.
  • Match cards are to be completed by coaches on the day.
  • Since the meeting was held, Mick Hayward has put his name forward to do the crucial admin side of things for all games.  He shall book the pitch, kick off time and referee for all home games and will ring in the results to the league for all games.  Mick will also be the contact for away teams to confirm their home fixtures.
